We manufacture all types of engine gears and engine timing gears to the highest tolerances
We manufacture a full range of transmission gears and components to exacting tolerances with every part produced to precise customer specifications
We manufacture spur helical, external and internal master gears to national and international standards including BS, ISO, DIN, JIS and AGMA
We manufacture a wide range of splined gear shafts to exacting tolerances. Our expertise encompasses everything from precision splines with tight dimensional control to ground splines to guarantee high performance and durability in demanding applications
We manufacture a full range of high-performance shafts from drive shafts and clutch shafts for chassis applications to specialist dyno shafts for testing
Lay shafts can have combined splines and gears which can be partially or fully machined at PTI. Splines and gears can be finished ground to give the highest accuracy, ensuring the best fit required
We manufacture all types of pump components including shafts, gears and rotors. Our CNC machines cover turning, milling, wire erosion, spark erosion, jig grinding, cylindrical grinding as well as gear and spline grinding
We manufacture all types of torsion bars. Torsion bars usually have splines which can be finished ground to give the highest accuracy, ensuring the best fit required
We manufacture many different types of involute and serration gauges to national and international standards including BS, DIN, ISO 4156, E22, ANSI and SAE
We produce precision ground Go/No Go spline ring gauges are available as small as diameter 17mm. We can also offer gauge sets as small as OD diameter 5mm
Taper tooth master spline gauges are offered for verification and calibration of splined ring gauges. Tapered spline mandrels can also be used for spline location for machining and/or inspection purposes
Our work holding fixtures allow clamping on existing spline and gear features enabling them to be used as datums. Further machining operations may then be carried out ensuring features are concentric to the spline or gear teeth
We manufacture many types of forged tooling including piston punches. Data can be received as a model (IGES format) from which the tool can be machined and inspected directly
